We are relationship builders first, and when relationships are successful, it means we have brought a Canadian product to a foreign market, and introduced a global buyer to a quality Canadian supplier.
We help Canadian companies succeed
With over 18 years of international marketing and business development experience in over 20 countries with brands as diverse as Kendall Jackson to boutique Canadian wineries, Allison is a seasoned sales and communications professional. Since opening her own Vancouver based consulting and exporting agency in 2014, she has worked with over 100 companies advising and training on export, import and representing premium goods across the globe.
Her current role as the Program Manager for B.C.’s Export Navigator, a provincial initiative to encourage, educate and support SMEs to grow sales beyond B.C., has her overseeing a team Export Advisors across six regions and advising on export issues and global trade developments.
Through her career, in roles such as International Trade Advisor and Director of Marketing and Trade Sales - China, she gained extensive expertise in international trade and export marketing, and also in program development, sales training and cross-cultural communications. Her diverse skill set is a valuable asset for any project in need of an advocate with both knowledge and agility, paired with a contagious positive attitude.
Allison’s enthusiasm for travel and for understanding how people live around the world has led her to explore over 30 countries. These experiences have shaped her ability to work seamlessly around the globe and expanded her knowledge of cultural understanding and how it is vital for any firm looking for success in the global marketplace.
Allison relocated to China in 2011 to complete her MBA in Shanghai and Dubai. While studying, she consistently demonstrated superior leadership and public speaking savvy – as demonstrated both at the Hult Prize - Clinton Global Initiative, Asia Finals, where she acted as Master of Ceremonies, and at the Hult 2012 Shanghai Graduation, where she was elected by her peers to give the valedictory address.
She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria, Canada,
which included a semester in Indonesia, and was awarded the Blue and Gold Award for demonstrating a strong commitment to the community, and to improving quality
of life at the university.
